Komdu út ehf. (Eagle golfferðir) travel agency license has been revoked - Claim for refund for package tours organized by Komdu út ehf also known as Eagle golfferðir.
The Icelandic Tourist Board has revoked the travel agency license of Komdu út ehf., also known as Eagle golfferðir, ID. 510724-2590 effective 8th December 2025, due to insolvency.
The company is therefore no longer authorized to create, offer or sell package tours or to mediate the sale of linked travel arrangements for commercial purposes.
The Icelandic Travel Insurance Fund will reimburse a traveler for payments made by the traveler for a package tour or linked travel arrangement that will not be carried out in accordance with the contract because the company's license has been revoked by the Icelandic Tourist Board.
The deadline for submitting a claim for reimbursement is until 9th February 2026. The claim must be received within the claim submission deadline. Claims received after that time will not be accepted.
Claims can be submitted through Ísland.is.
The claim must be accompanied by sufficient documentation to prove the claim, such as a description of the trip and receipts for payment or transfer.
