Workshop on Adventure Tourism in Iceland

North Atlantic Tourism Association (NATA), the Icelandic Tourist Board, and the Adventure Travel Trade Association in association with Keilir, Atlantic Centre of Excellence invite you to participate in a two day work shop about Adventure Tourism in the North Atlantic.

The workshop follows a one day conference „Conference on Adventure Tourism in Iceland“, hosted by Keilir on the 28th of April and is open for everyone. More about Keilir‘s conference here.

The main topic of the workshop is to discuss the status of adventure tourism in the North Atlantic region, identify threats and opportunities and find ways for more communication and cooperation between stakeholders. The secondary topics are quality and security issues in adventure tourism, where participants will get practical training in making Risk Analysis and transforming safety management practices into complete systems. The instructors of the workshop are among the best in their field worldwide, making this event a unique opportunity to learn from the very best.

Participation fee

Participation fee of DKK 1.000,- per person must be paid in advance as a confirmation of participation, before midnight the 24th of April. Please send a payment receipt to solrun@ferdamalastofa.is.

NATA covers travel cost and accommodation for participants from Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Accommodation

Accommodation is booked through the event’s registration site.

Travel cost

Participants book and pay their travels, both domestic and international and then invoice The Icelandic Tourist Board for a refund. To get the refund, participants must send all travel receipts and a copy of boarding (marked “ATTA workshop in Iceland”) to:
